It can be, time will tell. Blackie is the only black one (mutation?) hatched from F1 parents in late '90. We don't know why she is so dark and all her siblings are normal.

Onestamente non è che mi piaccia così tanto da poter dire ne voglio assolutamente uno..preferisco il colore piuttosto che questa dominanza scura..comunque nulla da togliere al soggetto..bello!
Ma il primo leo nerognolo gli è nato a lui o cosa? O è come dice manu cioè una loscata di ibrido?
A vedere i baby sembra multigenico... come accoppiare un classico hypo a un normal... (sparo perchè davvero non mi sono ancora informato... non ho avuto tempo... sono preso da altre cose scusate )

I just guess what you are talking about here. About if Black velvet is the super form? Yes, if we take BVF1 and BV8 are the middle form for example, then Blackie can have the super form of co-dom. genes.
This winter I will let siblings mate to prove if the morph is co-dom or not. But...that's just a dream to day. I have no idea...

I will keep all offsprings for the project this year. Maybe 2008 too. If there is something to show I can offer a few 2009.
